Mint Tea

I enjoyed something like this at Oren’s Hummus Shop in Palo Alto, California. My version isn’t as strong as what I experienced, but it is pretty close.

  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
  • Water
  • 1 tspn brown sugar


Bring 1-2 cups of water to boil.

Place mint leaves at the bottom of a cup and lightly smash with a spoon to release the flavor.

Pour boiling water over leaves and sweeten with brown sugar.
